Now its time to add the final piece to this conference.
The International perspective on the future, outside of Europe!
USA is the major arena when it comes to research around the field of School libraries.
Especially when it comes to the specific sections: Information litterature and new teqnicue for the school of the future. We have invited two of the most skilled reserachers, as well as lectures to our conference. First up is a person that already have been ”Warmed up” earlier today.
Right from the University Library in Borås, next to Gothenburg.

Dr. Lesley Farmer (USA), Professor at California State University, Long Beach, USA.
Dr.Lesley Farmer coordinates the Librarianship program. Lesley has worked as a library media teacher in K-12 school settings as well as in public, special and academic libraries. She serves as International Association for School Librarianship VP Association Relations, edits the IFLA School Libraries and Resource Centers Section newsletter, chaired the Educators of Library Media Specialists Section of AASL, and chaired the Education Section of Special Libraries Association. Dr. Farmer is a frequent presenter and writer for the profession. Her latest books include Teen Girls and Technology and Your School Library.
